I almost never book a hotel without first reading the reviews, but somehow this one sneaked through. Reading reviews after booking, I was very apprehensive about what we would find there. However, it was fine. For reasons that aren't relevant here (booking issue, not a hotel issue), we stayed in two separate rooms so my review is about both. To address some of the issues I've seen in other reviews, first off, neither of the rooms nor the bathrooms smelled like sewage. We had a jacuzzi in both rooms that both looked clean. We used one of the jacuzzis and it worked just fine. We didn't try the other one so I can't comment on that. The showers had very strong flow with plenty of hot water. No, there were no shower doors and yes, water got on the floor, especially if running the shower on full blast. But having no shower door is very common in Mexico - there were plenty of towels to wipe up the water that spilled over. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms quite spacious. One of our rooms had a small terrace, and both had great views of the pool and sea beyond. Despite what Google says, the hotel does have an elevator. I can't give 5 stars because the restaurant had a very limited menu and seemed overpriced. We only went there for dinner on one day, though they claimed to be open for breakfast too. Coffee makers in the rooms would have been nice, but there was a fridge. Overall, better than expected based on previous reviews.

Lors de l'activation du jacuzzi, celui si rejetais des choses très salle ! C'est le seul point négatif de l'hôtel ! Mention spécial à Willian qui faisait un service parfait au petit déjeuner :) !!

Ich empfehle das Hotel für mehr als 1 Nacht nicht. Auch zum reduzierten Tarif ist der Preis pro Übernachtung noch zu hoch. Service ist ok und Sauberkeit ist gut

Tengo mucho tiempo reservando con Hoteles.com y me sorprendió de verdad que este en su gama de hoteles. Nada de mantenimiento el personal ni idea tenia de nada, llego y me dicen que está cancelada una de las habitaciones y en recepción no tuvieron la delicadeza de buscar bien hasta que me moleste. El hotel en general es deplorable para lo que ofrecen no se confíen en las foros sucio, nada de mantenimiento los baños en súper mal estado Jamás regresaría y no lo recomiendo fuimos 8 personas y querían salir corriendo

Even been physically threatened by staff? If not and you feel you are missing out, stay at the Cyan Cancun "resort and spa" They have some ridiculous policy of having to check the room before you can check out? I told them I was running late for an international flight and they had 4 minutes until my uber showed up and I started walking out. They had a security guy follow me out saying I couldn't leave yet. I told them I was leaving as soon as my ride arrived, then they brought in a second security guy trying to block my exit. Essentially trying to threaten me physically if I left. again told them they now had 3 minutes to check the room and essentially begged them to physically touch me. I've never stayed at a place that has this policy that they must check the room before I'm allowed to leave. I left my room cleaner than it was when I checked in (not terribly difficult to acheive) and they had my card on file so I wasn't worried about them checking the room, but why? this is NOT a policy I've ever encountered. Don't let the pictures fool you, the pool is nice but the rest of the hotel is an absolute dump. Disgusting and dirty and the food at their "restaurant" was completely inedible. To call itself a resort is laughable. I'll never stay there again and I'll make sure to send this review on every site I can. I travel to resorts all over the world and this was a motel at-best. But facilities aside, for their staff to threaten me if I left before rm inspection?

Mal la recepcionista no quería darme mi cambio y tampoco hizo nada para conseguir cambio… y solo decía que no tenía cambio y q ni modo, yo le dije que requería mi cambio y jamás me dio el cambio, luego el botones se me quedaba viendo con las maletas ahí parado y ni para acercarse ayudar lo único q hacía era preguntar d qué habitación era… pedí ayuda con el equipaje y parece q me hable a la pared

La recepción dos señoritas aceptaron a mis papás, yo pagué por adelantado 4 días, entiendo que hay políticas lo que no se justifica es el trato que dieron al momento del check in, solicitaron mi INE, cosa que está bien, pero los modos no fueron los correctos y el trato fue muy malo, no regresarán mis papás y por ende no volveré hacer reservas aquí, no tienen closets, muy austeras las habitaciones en relación a otros que hemos evaluado por el precio y calidad, soy nivel casi oro en la app por lo que viajo muy frecuente

The building is nice. The place and the vibe is nice. The room is ok-ish Would have been nicer is the window doesnt look dirty and the sills are fixed and cleaned. Our washroom mirror needs a replacement badly. We only stayed for 1 night. We stayed closer to the airport for our 5 am fly back home. The sofa bed in our room badly needed a cleaning. Didnt want to sit in there. Really dirty. Over all, for a 1 night stay, its not that bad.
