Revisit a classic 1958 motor hotel at Viking Inn in Portland, OR. This freshly updated lodging is carefully restored to its original intent with minimal intrusion by 21st-century ideas and enhancements. Still, there is good air conditioning, WiFi, and HDTV to keep your tech habits in check. No on-site restaurant, but only a one-block walk to a coffee shop and a classic diner. Enjoy a Back to the Future getaway at Viking Inn!

Excellent place for the price

The bed is excellent, and has a fleece blanket instead of the ubiquitous down comforter. Very quiet. We safely took a walk at 11pm. Have Stayed here many times and will continue to do so when we are in Portland.

We stayed at the Viking Motel for 1 night in the Labour Day long weekend and were impressed by its cleanliness and spaciousness. We travelled by motor bike so at first we weren’t sure about having the bike parked out front but upon arrival and our stay we felt confident it was safe.
