After a 4hour 30min drive to the hotel we were needing a meal. It took almost an hour to get dinner served. Other guests walked out after complaining. One guest complained and as they were leaving they brought out there meal.!! Worst service I've seen in a while.

Issues with hotel chain, the hotel is fine

After a prolonged exchange via Hotels.con messaging trying to reserve rooms near each other and a great deal of confusion caused by the fact that Chevin House is now owned by a hotel chain whose central team seemed incapable of communicating with hotel reservation staff, I contacted Chevin directly and was quickly helped. The stay itself was good. It is very convenient to Leeds Airport. The rooms are comfortable and have all the essentials, though not many outlets for plugs. Food was decent though the restaurant seemed understaffed. The staff were all cheerful and helpful.
