Most of the resort staff were fairly friendly, but they only provided assistance when asked—they didn’t offer help proactively. One major disappointment was that, despite calling well in advance and emailing to request a room close to the main areas due to both girls’ challenges ( having autism) with regulation, we were given a room far away. This made it extremely difficult when they became dysregulated, as walking back to the room to calm them down was a struggle.
The food was average, but the service from one pool server, Daniel, was exceptional. The entertainment was also excellent, and the pools were great, with plenty of daily activities. However, accessing the beach was inconvenient since it was at the resort across the street. Guests either had to walk or take a cart that ran every 15 minutes, driven by a worker who seemed quite miserable. There was no system in place, so even if you were waiting with kids, others would cut in line, causing longer wait times. If you chose to walk, the cart driver would drive right up behind you without honking and would scowl at you.
The resort offered activities and entertainment throughout the day and especially in the evenings, which was a highlight. However, the late-night food options were lacking. When we arrived at 9 PM, the only available food was leftovers from the pool earlier that day, which was disappointing.
