På billederne virker værelset virkelig flot og rummelig. Men det er ret lille, dog meget rent. Toilet brættet var i stykker, hårtørrer virkede ikke ordentligt, flere badeværelse artikler var ikke som vist på billederne eller overhovedet tilstede. Personalet er utrolig sød og hjælpsomme, så de får problemerne fikset. Men problemerne skulle jo slet ikke gave opstået, hvis de var opmærksomme. Hver dag manglede vi noget af morgenmaden, som vi bestilte på forhånd dagen før. Små vigtige detaljer, som de mangler at få styr på.

We arrived at this hotel a bit early before our room was ready and met the most wonderful young lady. She was very accommodating, took our luggage, and stored it for us while we took a tuk tuk tour around the city. They gave us a glass of champagne to sit in the bar area while we waited for our tour. The room itself was beautifully appointed. There was a small balcony that you could go out/sit and look up and down the main street Ermou and see the Acropolis right in front of you. You could walk two blocks down the street and you were entering the roadway up to the Acropolis or you could walk uphill about eight blocks and you were at the tomb of the unknown soldier/Parliment. The third floor or rooftop was absolutely spectacular. The view was breathtaking. We were here in February and were the only ones at breakfast or in the evening. We had the place to ourselves except for maybe one or two other families. Our last night, the young man took us to the restaurant/bar (which was closed for the season) and gave us something to drink and relax, and look out over the Acropolis in the evening time. It was absolutely stunning at night. Plaka was one block away. Gelato was just across the street and a Gyro from Tommy’s was only two blocks up street an excellent spot to make your vacation.

Personalen är helt fantastisk, hjälpsam, vänlig, personlig. Lite oljud från gatan på nätterna för känsliga. Frukosten var mycket ambitiös, men kunde hålla högre kvalitet på granola, bröd och omelett. Rikligt men lite smaklöst. Kanske en buffé skulle vara bättre. Mycket mat vi aldrig kunde äta up9z Mycket bra service även här.

The host and hostess were very helpful and gracious. Originally we were disappointed the upstairs lounge was closed except for breakfast dining but they allowed us access to the area. It was actually quite nice to bring our own wine up there and enjoy the views and space. The room was very lovely, the bed extremely comfortable with lovely linens, a huge closet and luxurious bathroom. We did stay in a great suite but it was worth the splurge. The hotel was very close to all the sites and great restaurants and the metro. On our last day we had to leave early and our host was very accommodating and made us coffee drinks and brought some food for us to eat in the downstairs bar since we had to leave before the breakfast was served.

The staff were so friendly and couldnt do enough for you. The location is spot on; with beautiful views from the rooftop restaurant at breakfast. Although it isnt open for lunch or dinner, we used it a few times bringing in our own food, it was lit up beautifully for christmas. The room was spotless and complimentary drinks and bottle of bubbly was a lovely touch.

I am so glad that I moved to MiraMe Athens in the last two days of my visit in Athens. The boutique hotel is a refurbished house and I was very impressed by how spacious it is - closet is not just a cabinet but a room, bathroom is also spacious especially comparing to the first hotel I stayed. There is something very wrong with the service at this place and very poor communication skills from some of the staff. Apparently slow Wi-Fi is a problem all over Athens not just at the hotel, but the staff were so horrible with communications. They failed to explain that is common on a citywide issue so as to create realistic expectations.
