10/10 Exceptional

What a fantastic hotel. Full of character and style. The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. Big bathroom that was well decorated with stylish tiling and was warm with a nice shower and big bath. Room was serviced daily and supplied with replacement tea and coffee, towels and toiletries. I think the only thing that was missing was a small fridge (I have my own milk which I like to keep cool), but that was just just a minor point really. The only criticism I have was when I went for dinner one night (I wasn’t planning to) there was only the Christmas menu and as with most places this time of year the price was very high and although the quality was ok it wasn’t good value for money. But overall the hotel itself was great.

10/10 Exceptional

My friend and I stayed overnight at Nailcote Hall Hotel as we were attending our Christmas party there, and overall we had a very pleasant experience. Check-in was quick and easy, with a very friendly and welcoming lady on the reception desk. Our room was spacious, clean, and well presented, with a good-sized modern bathroom. Tea and coffee facilities were provided with a nice selection, along with two cans of water, which was a thoughtful touch. The room was well equipped, with two hairdryers, an iron, and a trouser press. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were good, and we both had a great night’s sleep. Breakfast the next morning was also very enjoyable, offering plenty of choice for both continental and full English options. Tea or coffee was brought to our table, which was a nice service touch. We managed to get a great Black Friday deal and paid just under £45 each, which we felt was excellent value for money. However, I don’t think we would have stayed at the normal full-price rate. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay, especially at a discounted price.

Lovely venue

The venue was lovely with lots of character. The wedding we attended was fab. The only disappointment was the breakfast it was a small room and there was no choice. It was English breakfast or nothing!

Clean but a little tired and dated

Clean enough room but it does feel tired and dated. Shower head was blocked and turned the bathroom into a wet room! Lovely staff though and restaurant food was good.
