This hotel is amazing in so many ways. It’s right across the street from Toji subway station which is one stop from Kyoto station. The rooms are very comfortable. They provide many nice extras like free snacks and drinks. A cocktail hour and a very comfortable lounge. The breakfast was excellent as well. Lots of great local restaurants. Aeon Kyoto mall is a 7 minute walk. Highly recommend this hotel.

We had a room on the 3rd floor (European 2nd floor), and we could hear all of the traffic, loudly also at night. The beds were nice and big, but for some reason they had thick winter duvets although it was 35 degrees outside. Way too hot. We had a twin room, it was very spacious. All in all good quality for the price.

In my 3 week trip to Japan, this was the best hotel i stayed in. It was new, clean, rooms were much bigger than your average hotel in Japan. Very clean and staff were great too. On side laundry which was super easy to use. If you are staying in Kyoto, this is the hotel to book.
