I've stayed at this hotel many times. It now seems run down, and my room had a 1980's feel. The hotel cafe next the street was closed all my stay. The hotel rooms cleaning order is strange, I was two hours early before the official 3 pm checking in time, and the arrogant, giggling bodybuilder of a receptionist said that in my #superior double" room category no rooms are available. Room cleaning is taking place in the cheaper categories. So I sat and waited for two hours, in the meanwhile many many customers with cheaper rooms checked in with no trouble. The receptionist shouted to me accross the room "Hey man, If you wanna pay 15€, I can call the cleaners to fix a room for you now". My last visit at this center of arrogance and bureaucracy -of a hotel. Bad management, Scandic!

Vastaanotto oli ok (jos ei huomioi tupakan savua vaatteissa). Huone oli puhdas, maisema kiva mutta joko huoneessa on ollut eläimiä tai siellä on sisäilmaongelma, allergialääkkeet joutui hakemaan apteekista jo puolen tunnin huoneessa olon jälkeen. Tämän lisäksi huoneessa oli kuuma eikä ilmastointia saanut pienemmälle. Jouduimme nukkumaan ikkuna auki ja alhaalta tuleva melu (lauantai-ilta) kuului ylös hyvin. Tämän lisäksi jossain lähistöllä olevassa huoneessa (viereisessä?) oli koira, joka haukkui yhtä soittoa kun omistajat eivät olleet huoneessa. Kuulimme sen jo iltapäivällä lauantaina ja heräsimme siihen sunnuntaina. Aamiainen oli runsas ja monipuolinen, siitä toinen tähti! Se että huoneeseen pääsee vasta klo 16 ei ole hyvä ja sitä kannattaisi muuttaa aikaisemmaksi.

Respan henkilökunta oli tullessa ja lähtiessä hyvin ystävällistä, suorastaan mukavaa. Huone oli hyvä. Ravintolan ainoana asiakkaana oli vähän yksinäistä, mutta palvelu oli reipasta. Ruoka ei ihan yltänyt loistava-kategoriaan. Kaiken kaikkiaan ihan hyvä stay over.

Ei ole hintansa väärti

Huoneessa ei ollut ilmastointia, vaan jäähdytyspaneeli ja se ei kyllä viilentänyt huonetta lämpimällä säällä vaikka oli säädetty minimiin (20 astetta). Piti nukkua ikkuna auki ja kadun melun takia ei saatu kunnolla nukuttua. Aamiaisalue on aika pieni ja viereinen kokoustila(?), joka oli valjastettu pöytätilaksi, oli aika hiostava ja täynnä. Terassin puolelle sai onneksi mennä syömään, siellä oli väljää ja parempi ilma.
