Had great difficulty getting into the room. The locks are very old and the keys didn’t work well. Had to trick the lock by bending the key to get it to unlock. Found out other guests were having the very same issue. Microwave didn’t work in room. Very small, cheap no brand tv. No fan in the bathroom and the light was wonky, it was dim and flickered. The shower plumbing whistled while running. Breakfast food was limited. Eggs, sausage and gravy were cool, not hot. On the positive side, the staff was super friendly and it was clean which goes a long way with me. The lobby was inviting with a nice big tv. Overall, it was a clean and safe stay. The property is outdated and needs improvement.

The receptionist upon our arrival in the evening never smiled while the one in the morning kept smiling. The room was unheated as the heating unit was not turned on. I do not think this is acceptable for the hospitality industry. We couldn't help feeling unwelcome.

This is a really nice, professional, yet personal hotel. Very nicely decorated with a cute gift shop. Really, really pleasant, accommodating staff. Best breakfast, better than the very expensive hotels. Very nice room, clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay there again!

This is a nice older hotel in a town where options are limited. It is not fancy but is very clean and the staff is friendly and eager to please. Be aware that there is not an elevator and you may be on the second floor!
