The owner is very nice. He goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Main St. Pizza also has good food and ice cream, next-door to the hotel. I would recommend it to anyone. It is very nice and clean. If I have any business in Hobbs or Lubbock, I will definitely drive an hour to stay at The Hotel Texan instead of staying at any other hotel.

Very cozy, historic hotel! I loved my room, it was very comfortable and homey, both the bed and couch were very nice. I really enjoyed talking with Gareth who checked me in as well, he was very friendly, knowledgeable about the area and the history of the hotel, and just fun to chat with.
