Fantastic hotel!

For conditions I have to put one star less but overall it is a fantastic Hotel and one of my favourite hotel. Currently they are renovating the hotel so a bit of building works. Still - excellent food/service/spotless clean - a lovely stay as always.

Superb breakfast but not so impressed overall.

Well, just booked a standard room at sportbacken. 500m walk from the main building, okej. Pretty expensive compared to other hotels with higher standards for the ”same category” of room, nothing speciell. Expected more for the money Breakfast was superb, very nice. Flatbread pizza in the Bistro was pretty booring. Had a long black straw of hair in the shower and found half of an old grape by the tv control :(

Jättefints spa som barn får följa med på!

Sportstugan var inte i särskilt bra. Vi hade mögel i duschen och mörkläggningsgardinerna slutade strax under fönstret o släppte därför in en massa ljus. Båda täckenas fyllning hade klumpat ihop sig någonstans på mitten av täcket och det var knappt nån fyllning var upptill. Jag påtalade detta i receptionen och fick då byta till ett rum inne på hotellet vilket var mycket bättre. Annars hade det här boendet fått mycket lägre betyg av mig. Jag valde det pga den lugna naturen runtomkring och att det fanns mycket att göra för barn samt att barn fick följa med på spa fram till 13:00.

Fint hotel med riktigt bra service

Jättefint hotel med hög standard, dock ingen AC vilket behövs uppdateras på rummen. Väldigt smakfullt inrett och många sköna loungesoffor att välja bland i sällskapsytorna. Vi åt i bistron på kvällen och upplevde att maten inte riktigt höll måttet. För mycket salt och lime i min fiskgryta samt för lite kött och för mycket svårtuggade grönsaker i min mans rätt. Frukostbuffén mötte upp våra förväntningar med råge- gott vällagat och mycket att välja på. Omgivningarna är fantastiska och ett besök på den gamla kvarnen för fika eller mat kan varmt rekommenderas.

Allt var till stor belåtenhet förutom: 1. Kranvattnet på rummet smakade illa, typ dy! 2. Restaurangmenyn saknade priser och på förfrågan upplystes vi om att alla varmrätter hade samma pris, 445 kr. Oavsett om det var fisk, oxfilé, kyckling eller vegetariskt. Restaurangen är ju ingen Michelinkrog! 3. Väntan på varmrätten var 50 minuter.
