Not your normal EconoLodge

This is not your normal Econolodge. The ones I stayed at in the past not good at all, but this one is very nice. Obviously an older building, but it’s been very nicely maintained and is very clean.

Southwestern College Visit

Super clean room. USB ports on the light scones. Updated shower head. The only minus was the noisy AC unit. Comfy bed, too. This is an old motel, but it was on the Main Street, convenient to restaurants and shops. And the price was affordable.

I was surprised and a little shocked when we got inside our room. The king bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on! I wanted to take it home. Pillows weren't bad either. Shower never got cold or had to be adjusted at all. Plenty of hot water. Would have preferred being able to adjust stream power or had a handheld showerhead but it still wasn't bad. Pressure was pretty good. We had no one on either side of us, so it was pretty quiet til morning. Then we could hear everything going on outside. The manager? owner? the man who checked us in, asked if we needed anything anytime we ran into each other. Very nice and accommodating. Furniture and room was really nice and comfy. Only issue with cleaning is there were a few hairs in the shower, but other than that, it was very nice. TV was nice and pretty big, also had an iron and ironing board, desk with comfy desk chair, hair dryer and the complimentary soaps and shampoo. Towels were a nice size. Parking was simple and right at our front door. (Downstairs room) Close to lots of eating and shopping venues. Would definitely book here again.

Shindigs is our favorite place to eat when in Winfield. The hostesses, waitresses and all the staff are the best!!!! So friendly and the food is amazing!
