We had a disappointing experience during our recent stay. After housekeeping serviced our room, an important personal item went missing. While it wasn’t something of monetary value (it was a medical-related device), it was still necessary and not something that should have been disturbed or discarded. We are not suggesting it was taken intentionally, but it was definitely present before housekeeping entered and gone afterward.
What made the situation more frustrating was the response from management. Rather than showing concern or making any real effort to help resolve the issue, the response felt dismissive and somewhat condescending. A little empathy and willingness to investigate would have gone a long way.
Additionally, we specifically requested on the second day that our room not be cleaned, yet housekeeping still entered. This was especially frustrating given that the cleaning itself was not thorough on either day, which makes the disappearance of the item even more confusing.
Overall, the lack of attention to guest requests, poor housekeeping quality, and unhelpful management response left us with a negative impression.
