Nice older motel, right off the 405, so traffic noise was as expected - although it died down quite a bit after "rush hour." Our AC unit growled whenever it turned on. My daughter said it sounded like an old man trying to clear his throat. Vending machines (water and some sodas) were on every floor, although none of them held any non-caffeinated drinks except bottled water, and the iced tea option held expired product, which was sad. Dennys is in the front of the motel, so I was able to go buy a couple of Sprites from them. Shower had really good water pressure but the "rainfall" shower head was partly clogged, so it was like needles hitting us; possibly this is a water-saving feature? Parking is an extra fee, which is lame, as it's not like a nearby beach, mall or museum is competing for the spaces. Non-smoking is a plus, but that just drove the smokers/vapers onto the open patio areas next to the elevators.
