Very dirty, bed bugs

Bed bugs disaster, all over my body and got some bugs home, had to clean up the whole house. Super dirty in the room, AVOID this place.

Location was great but that's where it ends. I have stayed at this hotel several times but after this last time I will not be returning. We got 2 rooms, 1 room smelled awful. Like dog and death. 2nd room didnt smell as bad but there was mold over the shower head and it looked like it was going to fall in. Went to the front desk and the girl just looked at me puzzled and said they had just cleaned it. I tried to explain again and got the same vacant expression so I walked away. Shortly after a guy comes up and looks and says he can spray bleach on it. He did, didn't change anything. We were not offered to move just a kind of well this is the best we're gonna do. I could have dealt with all of that, what I couldn't deal with was the bed bug I found in my bed after I had been bitten several times. Now I have to hope none of them came back with me so I don't have to deal with all that expense. This place used to be my go to, now I'll have to find somewhere new to stay.

The hotel needs many updates. The pool had tiles missing. The sheets were low quality and paper thin. They need to do some deep cleaning and dusting in the rooms. Only one ice machine for three levels. Room for lots of improvements. No one at the front desk on Sunday at 9am for check.

The room we were in had stains all over the carpets and dressers. It also smelled like animal urine, we did not have an animal.with us. The staff was really nice and friendly. The pool area was clean and the water was great.

We really enjoyed staying with you!! Our daughter and her husband was part of the Ponies in the Smokies!!! You weren’t very far from that, so it worked out great!! The room was clean!! We stayed warm!! We needed a few towels and you were very accommodating!!!

It was hard to find a parking spot that was convenient to our room. The room itself was fine, no bugs, no issues. When we left, my daughter told me later on in the day that she had lost 1 slipper in the room. We went back and the person in the office said there was nothing left in the room. I'm assuming they either found it and trashed it right away, or they didnt clean the room very well. We have cleaned out our van since and its nowhere to be found. Has to be left in that hotel room. Maybe under the bed or something. Idk but huge disappointment because she got them for Christmas and literally lost it on the 26th.

Remote to TV hardly worked; Hotel uses actual keys for doors and not a card (very old school); no staff available in the middle of the night; no late checkout allowed; theres a landline phone in the room but doesn't work. It was such and unprofessional way to run a commercial establishment in humble opinion.

Very clean and hospitable! We came in for NYE and had view of the island fireworks from our room. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable with multiple seating options and a table. The jacuzzi jets were all clean as well and it was quite large as well! Overall a great an affordable surprise in a motel and we will definitely stay here again!
