I am an extremely positive business person and overcome obstacles that most just complain about so I hate to post something negative, but the room was so dirty that the bottoms of my feet were black when I went to take a shower. There were also three cockroaches, and I killed one of them, and two of them escaped, the staff was extremely friendly and the coffee was always made on time in the lobby, so no complaints there.
Sadly a number of homeless people were allowed to camp out on the property even under the stairwell the went up to my room. I stayed the entire six days and the management offered to put me in another room, but I cleaned it myself and just put “do not disturb” on the door. Like the management told me they can’t always control. What happens in the rooms although I think they could’ve cleaned it much better. To their credit the bedsheets and pillowcases were clean and the bed was very comfortable.
There were cigarette burn marks on the tub and on the plastic toilet seat. Also, the faucet to the sink was loose. You could move it around when you turned it on. It did not stay in one place, but the water was pure and even tasted good.
There were also a number of prostitutes that continued to roam around, not only on the property, but also the area in general.
My advice would be to seek a different hotel, possibly a different hotel chain and go to a different part of town if you have to stay in Phoenix
