Sensira is very child-friendly and family oriented. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Although the beach was full of seaweed when we were there, we did not feel bored at all. The pool and the variety of activities they had for families and kids were more than enough to entertain us.

Overall this place was a nice stay for 4 days with my family, kid friendly activities and pool side for adults and kids. Service was top notch especially in the lobby bar. Angel (morning shift) and Domingo aka Sunday (evening shift) were the best of the best! Oliver in the pool side was always on top of drinks food etc… Karina in the buffet restaurant was very sweet and fast what you needed. These people deserve a raise! Only wished the beach was cleared from seaweed but other then that it was great place to stay, I’ll be back. 8/10

My husband and I stayed for three nights. We received a warm welcome upon arrival by our butter. Joao and later Raphael and Luis at the buffet restaurant all did excellent job taking care of us . The Ruby room is the best for couples. It has spectacular views. We enjoyed the indoor jacuzzi overseeing the ocean. Dining in the buffet was good. Some days have a variety choices . The Mexican restaurant was a disappointment and needs improvement. It has the poorest quality food and we left without eating. Another improvement that we think is needed is room service menu. It needs variety. Over all it is a clean beautiful place we will plan to return again.

The seaweed stench is extremely strong. You can't enjoy the balcony of your room or the pool in adult area. The knights pub is a cool place to hang out. The amber lounge is a hidden gem great view and seaweed stench doesn't reach it. The beach simply can't be enjoyed with a pile of seaweed blocked in the nets of the neighboring property which seems abandonded. The seaweed leeches and gives a piss like color to the water in the resort beach. Neighboring property's HVAC system is loud and can be heard non stop even from within the room.

Overall, our stay at Sensira Resort was not terrible, but it certainly fell short of expectations. The access roads to the hotel were in poor condition, and most of the staff were not welcoming, with a few outstanding exceptions: Erick at the front desk, Ana and another Cuban lady, a short woman in the buffet, and the young man from housekeeping — all of whom went above and beyond. Dining was extremely slow — we waited over an hour for food, and once even left the steakhouse without eating. My son has a gluten allergy, and despite informing the restaurant and requesting assistance, no one followed up or offered support. I ended up preparing his meals in the room. Children’s activities were very limited, especially disappointing given that the beach was in poor condition and unusable. The resort has potential but must improve its customer service, food service efficiency, and accommodation for dietary needs. I would not repeat the experience, nor would I recommend it. If you still have time, change your reservation.
