Friendly staff Facility: - Clean room, space ok for hotel in Japan. - Personal care products readily available in the room, including shave, comb etc. - got personal bathtub - Bottled water refilled generously daily (3 bottles). - smart TV a/v - Self service convenience store next to lobby is highly appreciated. It got ice machine and microwave at the same time. Downside: no gym room

This hotel is a wonderful stop in Fukuoka. Located in a great part of town, just away from the bustle of Tenjinand Hakata City! Room was clean and comfortable. I hear the restaurant on the first floor is top-notch. The lay out of the hotel allows us to bypass the reception counter entirely. This gives you privacy to simply head up to the room after a long day out.

One simply cannot beat this location. It is still centrally located but is not situated right in the middle of the action. From Hotel JAL, we were able to walk to Tenjin, Daimyo and OhoriPark. We highly recommend this hotel!

Good basic hotel with attentive, polite and helpful staff. The buffet breakfast has limited choices and the rooms are small. The laundry is convenient if you have been travelling for a while but I did not see any warm water option for winter clothes. If you’re not looking for luxury, this is the hotel for you.
