Very disappointed with my recent stay at Taj Skyline. Taj is known for its service and excellent rooms, but visiting again after 3 years, I found the property extremely run down. Towels and linens looked old and stained, carpets/rugs looked filthy, and dustbins had rust on them. The rooms were not clean, bathroom floor mats were rolled up for us to place ourselves, and housekeeping standards were poor. There was no hot water for showers - it was lukewarm at best. We had requested a baby crib and baby wash tub. The cot provided made the entire room smell. The hotel is not soundproof, and due to loud music from an event nearby, we could not sleep all night. On checkout, we were charged a hefty amount for an airport transfer, but the car took 30 minutes to arrive and it wasn't even a Taj car - it was a random outsourced vehicle and driver. Overall an extremely uncomfortable stay. Not what you expect from the Taj. Will not be staying there again unless its renovated and housekeeping and service standards improve
