Great hotel and perfectly located to walk to all the tourist spots. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with lots to choose from. It has a great bar/cafe at the front of the hotel that is great to sit at and just enjoy seeing the guest come and go. The room was clean and comfortable with the exception that there is no air conditioning which can make it uncomfortable if it gets too warm. They did have a fan in the closet that could be used to cool the room with the window open. Other than that it is wonderful and we will stay again.

Beautiful hotel tucked away from the touristic downtown but still close enough to walk to. The room was clean, comfortable and had a great courtyard view. The restaurant/bar on site was convenient with a descent spread for breakfast. There was parking on site, but you may want to call ahead and reserve a spot if possible.

Tasty breakfast buffet

We had an overall nice stay! The room and bed was comfortable, and it was pleasantly cool in spite of no air-conditioning. The breakfast was the best thing in my opinion, the buffet had a good variety to chose from and it tasted great. Negative points for badly equipped fitness room that was not even included in fee (extra 4 euro per day), and lack of shielding in the bathroom causing water to flood all over the bathroom and into the hallway when showering.

Great hotel, but not so comfy beds

Nice hotel, good service, helpful staff and great breakfast. The hotel is perfectly located in the old part of town if one wants to explore the historic sites. The only downsides for the hotel are the beds with extreme hard mattresses. They are too hard for our taste and we did not sleep well. That could easily be fixed with a softer top mattress. Apart from the beds however, it’s a lovely hotel.

Lovely hotel but road-facing rooms not worth the £

The hotel itself is very impressive and nice. The rooms are large and roomy. No air conditioning made it uncomfortable with a baby in the heat. The breakfast was a great perk. Our main issue was the noise, the first night we and the baby did not sleep. Granted, there was a festival that was loud until about midnight but drunk people, cars and in the morning lorries/trucks kept us awake. We were in a road-facing room and weren’t advised of this - with the heat it would have been great to open the windows but the noise made this impossible. A heads up from the staff would have been appreciated, we could have at least left the hotel to get the baby to sleep. We moved rooms for the second night which was much better, but the room was not worth what we paid for it given the noise. Similar reviews suggest this is a common issue.
