We chose this property specifically because we had spent the day at the American Dream Mall and planned to celebrate our son’s second birthday in the hotel’s indoor pool. Upon arrival, however, we were informed that the pool was out of order and had been closed for some time. Unfortunately, this was not disclosed at the time of booking. The availability of the indoor pool was the primary reason we selected this property. Had we been notified in advance, we would have chosen a different hotel in the area. I wish the property was more transparent regarding the availability of a major amenity, and the lack of notification significantly impacted both our stay and our plans for a special family celebration. Additionally, upon entering our room, we noticed a strong musty odor. The smell was significant enough that I used my own Lysol spray to feel more comfortable in the space. This further detracted from what we had hoped would be a special and enjoyable stay. We expect more from the Hilton branding.
