Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location, just across the highway from the bay. The view was nice but it was of the dock for the big ships so it wasn't just nature, but rather of the workings of a big port. Although you could turn to the right and see the open ocean. We were very very lucky and were there the morning of the Iron Man and the bicycle portion of the race went by right outside our window!

Ok for a night stop

The staff were very friendly, check in and out easy. The room was missing pillows and towels for the children (which I am sure we could have rectified easily however we were exhausted). The bed was very hard and it was so noisy from the road and dock we actually thought the window was open and therefore didn't sleep very well. The room itself was spacious and clean.

Dangerous shower

Well positioned on the beach front, comfortable room with sea view. Only gripe is that the shower door opened inwards and when you close it, it scoops all the water onto the bathroom floor. Is it legal to have a shower door opening inwards??
