Location, location, location!!

Great location, you step out the front door to the entire town of Kennebunkport, and for that reason alone is enough for me to stay again! Our room was clean & the window AC unit worked very well at keeping the room chilled. The tv on demand situation is awful, but we came to see the town not watch tv so that wasn’t a huge deal. There was a weird noise that I couldn't place that kept waking me up at night, like a tapping of some kind. We stayed in room 225. Customer service was great! The Inn is so beautiful & matches the appeal & beauty of Kennebunkport!

The Inn is definitely more dated than the photos lead you to believe. I booked the Riverhouse Queen room at least expecting it to look similar to the photos listed. The bed was fine but the walls were bare and a inch and a half centipede crawled out of the sink when we arrived. The breakfast served is pretty bare as well. Some pre-packaged drinks like OJ and no hot food. Honestly was incredibly underwhelmed and disappointed for the price point of the Inn and considering the other options that are in the area. This was the last night of a trip and was hoping the Inn would be one of the nicer stays on the trip and it was easily the worst. I'd look elsewhere in the Kennebunkport area for a stay. The one positive I'd note is that they have free bike rentals.

Just OK

Had a great experience last year but this year was very different. Not warmly welcomed and didn’t have the same charm. The continental breakfast items and coffee were empty only an hour into breakfast hours and nobody was on property to replenish until about 30 minutes later. The hotel worker was very nice but she was covering 4 properties. Great location and complimentary parking. Beware of the added resort and hotel fees.

Está muy bien ubicado y tanto el edificio como las zonas comunes son muy bonitas. Nuestra habitacion estaba en el ultimo piso, decorada en tonos marrones con moqueta animal print y baño si ventana (no se parecía nada a las fotos de la web del hotel). El desayuno es industrial. Me esperaba más por 290$, la verdad.

Great stay in Kennebunkport

We had a great time at the Kennebunkport Inn! Great location, friendly service, free parking, continental breakfast included but with good coffee, oj, bagels and yogurt! Properly has been nicely updated with comfy beds, new bathrooms and classic New England decor! You can tell the building is old but I would totally recommend and come back!

Auberge idéalement située au cœur de Kennebunkport mais l’édifice est ancien et les chambres sont très mal insonorisées (nous avons été réveillés à 5h00 du matin par un voisin de chambre qui prenait sa douche…. Veille tuyauterie… puis à 7h00 par les camions poubelles). Le petit déjeuner est vraiment de mauvaise qualité (quelques bagels, céréales industrielles en portions individuelles, cakes en portions individuelles…) et pas du tout écoresponsable (couverts en plastique, assiettes en plastique et le tout emballé dans des portions individuelles en plastique). Bref, hôtel assez cher pour les prestations proposées.

The outside of this hotel is beautiful and the inside is suppose to resemble the original building I believe. It was old and some of the rooms were in better shape than the others. In one of the rooms the heat worked but In the other it didn’t. We reported it to front desk but they couldn’t do much about it and just said talk to manager in the morning so we froze all night. But it’s ok because we got a whole 27 dollars off one room. The remote was dusty and dirty, the windows were dusty and dirty and so were the blinds. Again, I reported it to front desk and took pictures but I don’t think they cared. Breakfast is very basic and processed food. The tv is cable tv not smart tv and no phone in the rooms. I like that they offered two bottles of water and the hallways and dining rooms were nicely decorated for the holidays.
