For the location close to JFK it worked out well. Neighborhood is run down and nothing in walking distance. We stayed in NY on the way to milan at the Sheraton 4 points flushing and had a great room and hotel for about $70 less than the Hampton, hoped the Hampton would be good for return before onward journey, but was like $271 for a motel feel , room smelled like smokers and was older , bathroom sink so small i could not use it well. No decent restaurants near by so was not good on many levels, but got to sleep so that is a good thing but was it worth $271 no way!
