After we arrived, we webt up to the room, the card didnt work got a replacement card. When we entered the room, the bed was unmade, fast food saxk and drink was on the dresser, diry towls on bathroom floor. Obciously the cleaning of the room was skipped. We received a new room, it was a suite. It was decent.

Requested an accessible room, the only thing that makes this accessible is that it is on the first floor. Next year I will stay somewhere else The plugs in the room would not hold a plug. The toilet is low and not accessible either.

We chose this hotel due to price and convenience for us and we began our forced homeless journey. We arrived to check in and was told the housekeeper was on vacation in Branson with her family so my room would not be ready until 10am the next day so we stayed in a random room the first night. We got a roughly $8 discount for the “inconvenience”. I went down the next day at 10:30am to get our new room so we could start unloading our U-Haul and was told it still wasn’t ready and we had to wait. Once we were finally able to get moved into our room, we had our dog (that we paid for) and my sisters dog in our room while she helped us unload our U-Haul into a storage. The other dog visiting was a problem (which is fine, I didn’t see the policy about visiting dogs and I removed the dog within the hour of being told) but the staff chose to sit downstairs and continue a full conversation about me and the dogs in front of my kids to hear instead of just coming to me with the issue. It was easily resolved. Then the next day we asked for new towels and was told we were being charged for our 2 children who were 12 & 13, and the reasoning was because they look 18! All because we asked for new towels 3 days in! And to be clear, this was all one woman who caused all of these additional issues and once she was gone the rest of our stay was pleasant and the manager was very kind. We just became homeless and this woman was an absolute nightmare. The city also shut the electric off for 8 hrs.
