Nice comfortable room just needs to be updated and it smelled like smoke but doable. Also only had a cpl towels each used to having 4 towels. I will say i got a great price as well for last minute.

We came from central lower michigan and stayed the night. Uopn arrival i noticed how quiet it was there. Webt in and registered then to check the room. Suitws are definitely they way to go if you want to move around freely. The room was very clean and nicely situated. We did the usual inspection but found no traces of any type of bug.the beds were good but i didnt like the pillows my wife liked the bed and pillows however. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a nice assortment of choices. Met the manager and she is such a wonderfull caring person. Overall The grounds and parking lot were very well taken care of. Insise was very clean and very well situated for the comfort of guests. The room ( Suite) was very clean, organized, and situated to orovide maximum comfort to its guests. Breakfast was free and cery well stocked to please a very large array of appetites. The STAFF very pleasant and helpfull Sorry didnt go in the pool or exercise room so no reviews This HOTEL SHOULD BE THE EXAMLLE ALL OTHER COMFORT SUITES SHOULD FOLLOW. Thank you for a wonderful experience at your hotel.

Best in Auburn

We stay at this hotel whenever we are in the Auburn area. The employees are always courteous. Normally the facility and rooms are very clean. I noticed this stay, the room needed more attention... dust, cobwebs. The Breakfast area person was in the back room, on her phone, speaking so that we heard her conversation. Also the next morning, the girls cleaning the rooms were very loud in the hallway talking... while we were trying to rest in our room. Even with these few problems, we will return because it is the best hotel in town and convenient to all our needs.

Our room was right next to the pool, which was very loud during pool hours, both morning and night. There was a cockroach running around on the bar counter and I trapped under a cup. There was a drain pipe right outside our window and drained towards the building, resulting in the sound of running water all night. There was an exploded frozen diet pepsi in the refrigerator. The guests in the room above us jumped and crashed onto their floor until midnight when we reported them to the front desk. There was also a $150 additional hold put on my card upon arrival for incidentals and were not warned about the hold ahead of time and had not been charged during our previous stay the week before.

Not Very Clean

After I checked into my room, I bought a pack of bacterial wipes down the street at walmart because there were a lot of high touch areas that weren’t clean. The flooring that you’re met with at the door had wet boot marks and streaks. The shower looked like it was used, while the shower curtain was clean and new, the shower walls still had water, dirt spots that I could clean off. The bathroom mirror had water spots and little cotton bits like someone had tried to use a paper towel but it fell apart. While wiping down light switches, door handles and remotes those were the most dirty. The room was not bad and my stay wasn’t ruined by this at all. I never brought anything up to the front desk about my room, because I didn’t want to cause problems. Rather it is safe to say I won’t stay here again in the future.
