Both hotels.com, and the hotels website stated that the fee for pets was $25. Go to check in and now fee is $150 plus a $150 deposit. I paid as we had no other hotels available, front desk refused to abide by their own website. Beware!

It was a family girl’s trip. The room was spacious, clean, and comfy. The pool is on the smaller side and very busy, but it wouldn’t stop me from staying there again. Very convenient to beach and restaurants.

Never staying here again; lots of better options

Very little water pressure in shower and sinks. NO elevator. Declined a later check out request. Tiki bar is all a big smoking section, which we didn’t know prior, preventing us from enjoying the bar (we went to all the other bars/restaurants in town). LOUD. Paper thin walls; we listened to the couple next door snoring all night. Deliveries & bar set-up downstairs start at 6am, sounds like they are in your room with how little the walls are insulated. No bottle water offered in room. TV services were junk. Didn’t use the pool cause it looked like the water has never been cleaned or changed.

Convenient, walkable stay

Excellent, convenient location. Extremely walkable to the beach & restaurants. The hotel and surrounding areas are renovating/rebuilding still. Our hotel room was brand new & beautifully done. Loved the Tiki Bar and being able to carry a drink back to our private balcony.

We did enjoy our stay, unfortunately only one pool was open due to the hurricane a couple years ago. That was not mentioned when I booked. Finding the office initially was difficult also. Otherwise our stay was good

Great stay at Lighthouse for boyfriends birthday! Room was cute and cozy. Beds super comfy. Only downfall was no elevator so the steps were hard for boyfriend due to a stroke he had 15 years ago. But overall would defenitly stay again!

Fun place, room needed updates.

Husband and wife getaway to fort Myers beach. Great location and atmosphere. The tiki bar and live music was great. Terrific employees very friendly. Only issue was condition of hotel room. We were on the third floor, so no prior flooding from hurricanes. Our bathroom door wouldn’t shut, the door’s hinges were failing and they tried to repair the door by adding screws into the door to strengthen it. Cheap repair didn’t work. Also the vinyl flooring was lifting everywhere to the point you would stub your feet constantly. We wore flip flops inside the entire time due to the awful floor. Also elevators are still down from the hurricane. Overall great place, room quality was poor.

It was alright

It was alright. Front desk lady was rude and short at check in and when exchanging towels. We had no parking two nights of our stay due to the overwhelming amount of people who come to visit the tiki bar. I recommend 24/7 parking or atleast until tiki is closed to ensure guests get what they paid for. Property only has one pool open and it is next to that tiki bar so with kids it wasn’t ideal. Randoms at the pool too so not sure why front desk gave paying customers a hard time when they had people just camping at their pool and tiki bar. I love ft Myers beach but lots of work still left to be done. I’d start with a friendly check in it threw off the trip the moment I arrived not being welcomed nor given recommendations for our stay it was cut throat here’s your keys bye don’t come back here or else. Not what I was looking for on our beach stay.

Disappointed regular guests of 15 yrs.

Construction was not complete and workers did concrete work outside our bedroom window early in the am. Our Pool view was of the unfinished pool that was not useable but advertised as 2 pools to take a dip in. The front pool was overcrowded. Bedroom AC did not work properly, did not cool at all. Talked with the GC and showed him the unit and the AC unit blowing warm air. The so called “ new” coffee pot that was stained and took 1 hr to brew 8 cups. Very disappointed to be charged a premium rate and not experience a premium stay!
