The hotel is in the midst of a much needed facelift. Pool was closed. Patio to watch sunset was under construction. You could hear drilling in our room midday (but not at night). Had issue with the AC and had to call front desk at 2am. This is a very old hotel and you can tell. Staff were lovely though. We got an early check in which was very nice.

The views from the pool and pool area restaurants are incredible and everybody tries to make your stay the best they can. The pool is very cold even in summer and makes a little uncomfortable for small kids
