First of all let me address hotels.com. Hotels.com is shady as hell and am upset. I paid $128 to hotels.com plus about $8 in city taxes paid at the hotel. When I checked Marriott website immediately after I made this “no cancellation” reservation, the exact room was €108 including city taxes. So hotels.com is out here shafting people. I do not intent to use their services after this. And as a Marriott member, of course I couldn’t get my points after being swindled by hotels.com
As per the hotel:
The hotel was cozy, exquisite, nice, fresh and the staff were GREAT! Amenities were nice but there’s no microwave. Now, the hotel needs to do a better job at informing their potential customers of some information. First, the shuttle time at the airport. Courtyard is the only hotel whose shuttle timetable isn’t on the board at schipol airport designated bus pick up spot. Secondly there’s a fee for courtyard pick up, IT IS NOT FREE (concerning). Lastly, the hotel needs to do a better job at informing patrons which public bus to take. The bus is bus 300 toward overbus moors but it’s the one on the opposite side of the airport. I made the mistake of getting on the 300 in front of the airport but the driver was kind enough to tell me I was on the right bus but the wrong direction. So I had to run across to catch the one going to the hotel. It court about $4. These are the concerns I had with this.
