This is a really basic hotel. It is perfectly fine for a single person. I found the front desk staff efficient but not particularly friendly or helpful. You get a bed, a shower, and a toilet. Everything is modern and clean, but amenities are limited, from something as simple as the combo shampoo and body wash, to no drawers to put things away. The breakfast, which is not included but it seems everyone partakes, is self serve, but great variety. They have a buffet dinner as well that is plentiful and surprisingly fresh and good. Other than a restaurant, there are really no other amenities.
The location is central to the Part Diuex train station, so it's covenent for arrival to Lyon, and the noise from there is minimal. However it is next to a park where there are people "hanging out" all day long, sometimes noisily.
It should be noted that the coolest parts of Lyon are at east a 20-30 minute walk or bus ride away. Easy to get there, but not out the door.
I loved Lyon; there was a lot to do. I would stay somewhere more central next time.
