great location! easy access to the old town. Marienplatz and Karlsplatz are few minutes walk. it was so easy to check in even late at night. front desk staff leaves at 11:00pm. the floor of the room could need an improvement,the carpet is dated. maybe a small coffee pot in the room would be nice.

The shower in our room did not work properly and the TV never worked. I did not report it because we were out constantly out with friends and when we could the reception area was always busy. The hotel is however, centrally located for the main sights in Munich.

Fab location, close to public transport links. Hotel is clean, large room with decent shower, AC, hairdryer, TV, safe. If arriving after 11pm there is no one on the desk and the doors will be locked so make prior arrangements to access hotel and room.

Good location, great staff but noisy

The staff was amazing and accommodating. She even moved us to another room when our first room was very loud. Unfortunately, even with an inner courtyard room, we heard the music from the club next door until 4:30 in the morning! The first night, we had a street view and heard loud people in front of the club most of the night. This hotel is in a great location, right in front of a U/S station and near shopping - we were there on a weekend, so the club next door was going until all hours of the morning, and definitely caused noise issues for us.

This hotel is overall good value for the money, as it is very conveniently located, even thought it’s quite old and needs renovations. However, beware that there are some rooms that do not have a window!!! We managed to ask the service desk to switch our room (overall front desk was quite nice and helpful), but beware, as they seem to go fully booked.

There are no full window shades so the sun wakes you up early in the morning. We had a shared balcony and people can see into your room. It is very unnerving. The location is great with transportation right there, but thats about it.

Hotel Daniel was very nice and walkable to many things in downtown Munich. However, we paid extra for a room with air conditioning and the air conditioner was broken. The evening receptionist was very kind to bring us a fan and made an effort to get the air fixed but it never was despite our efforts. We also found the daytime receptionist to be grouchy.

Hotel muito bem localizado, ao lado de uma estação de metrô e 5 minutos a pé da Marienplatz. Maioria dos pontos turísticos da cidade conseguem ser vistos a pé saindo do hotel (ou pegando o metrô na esquina da rua). Limpo e confortável, quarto espaçoso e bem arejado. Ficamos na época da Oktoberfest e imaginamos que seria uma estadia barulhenta, mas não foi o caso, acústica dos quartos muito boa. Um ótimo hotel para quem quer um lugar confortável e asseado após o dia de passeio.

Perfect for Octoberfest

Surprisingly affordable hotel close to Octoberfest. OK room, ok bathroom, ask for room not facing the street for a quiet nights sleep. Only downside was requirement to be out by 11, which is hard after partying at the Oktoberfest :)
