Sandra, our check-in clerk was more than pleasant and accommodating. While it is being updated there are certain aspects of the property that look tired, ie well worn cabinetry in breakfast area, tv that wouldn’t shut off (so we unplugged it) plus the picture starting to fade, some well used towels etc, scuffs on walls etc. The rear entrance door banging shut at 6 AM made for an early morning (inconsiderate guests). The lovely firm mattress and fluffy feeling pillows made for a wonderful night’s sleep! Despite the early rise, I awoke well rested just the same! For price point and convenient location and parking for trucks & trailers it works. That’s what brought us in. I must say the staff make the place. They are all pleasant and happy in their work.

The bedding, room, bathroom were clean. The TV worked. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the breakfast had a waffle maker, boiled eggs, yogurt, bagels and toast with jelly, honey, cream cheese. Very good coffee and some little muffins. Oh and cold cereal and cold milk. I think that we got a better deal than a more expensive place. Staff was also very nice.

Room was as advertised. No closets- just a clothes bar. Bathrooms updated and clean. Had a little trouble w tvs- but got it working. Lobby at 6:45 at night had all the lights off and not very inviting. We thought it was closed. Served its purpose as a place to chill for the night on long road journey. Hotel is decent. We were placed in a room next to the roadway upstairs which was extremely noisy during nighttime hours. There is not an elevator which made arrival and departure frustrating. We were allowed to keep our pets in the room which was nice. Staff was very nice and helpful and they had a free breakfast that was decent. Overall I gave this hotel a 3 out of 5 because it does not have an elevator, we heard traffic on the road all night from our room, the AC unit didn’t work very well and there were a few things broken throughout the hotel. Needs some upkeep.
