Overall, the stay was great. Everything was just as we expected. Here are a few observations on our end:
- Despite the pictures, it is an older hotel. It needs some updating and work. Some of the repairs have been subpar. We knew that when booking (and the price reflects that, I believe).
- The day we stayed there were storms that moved in. It broke their front door so getting in was a bit of a pain, but we worked with it.
- All of the staff we met were courteous and friendly. They were helpful when we needed anything.
- The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was good for a hotel bed. We had no real complaints. For tall people, a note: the shower head was at about 4', so it hit me in the chest. I had to duck and bend to wash my hair. But it had good water pressure and was plenty hot.
- The one thing I didn't like was the breakfast. The breakfast consisted of muffins, waffles, cereal, and biscuits and gravy. The gravy was soupy. I think they should really look at the breakfast.
If we needed another cheap hotel in the SpringMo area, we would have no problem staying there again.
