Our room was inexpensive and convenient to Shenandoah National Park. The beds were comfortable but the bedspreads were stained. The room was clean. The stairwell had a peculiar odor and I noticed the stairwell doors did not close and latch, which may be a fire code violation. The bathtub creaked loudly when anyone took a shower: guessing there was minimal support under the tub. The breakfast offering was not quite spartan…I found the coffee undrinkable (good news, though: there’s a Dunkin’ Donut across the street). The staff was not particularly enthusiastic. But the room was inexpensive…
