Scary

Scary. Only stayed one night, noises in hall all night, nonsmoking room smelled like smoke, window was open. Took 4 hours to check in. I will never go back there. Left after first night, tried contacting hotels.com about refund for 2nd night, no response yet. People, especially women, need warned about that place

OMG

The best part was the room was mostly clean. But it run down, noisy, bath room faucet needs repaired, but you can rent for the week for $350. NOT US. As we realized to late that it was Indy 500 weekend, We can see why it was last room in the area.

Minimalist hotel.

If you don’t mind the minimum comfort in a hotel room, this is your place. It’s very affordable but you are not going to get much for that money. Make sure you drive a 4X4 since you are going to have to navigate through the good-sized potholes in the parking lot. For the money you pay don’t expect cable TV neither. Ah!, and bring your own pillow. The ones they have seem small and whatever they are filled with, they are not too comfortable.

I choose because they have a pool. The pool is broken. Payed extra for a king, it was unavailable, got a queen. Best thing is the staff. Very friendly and tried their best. Overall would not stay here again.

Cancelled at last minute. No notification.

We arrived at midnight only to be told our reservations for 3 nights that were made several months ago was cancelled and that our third party reservations company (hotels.com) should have notified us. I ended up sleeping in the car since there were no hotels available within 100 miles. This was the night before the 2024 eclipse. I'm glad they cancelled us because it looked like a dump.

I booked with a pay at the hotel booking and they charged my card a day before I was to arrive. I was planning on paying a different way at the hotel. They also didn’t have someone on duty at the front desk all the time. The room key card didn’t work all the time either

Mixed bag

Basic room, clean comfortable bed, so ok on that score. There was no shower curtain-I had to go to the hotel next door to get one the next morning. No-one was in the office until well after 9am so it was not convenient to check out and get my cash deposit back without waiting.

The lobby was cluttered, dingy and not welcoming. We didn't get past the lobby because they lost our reservation which I had made months before. Supposedly they lost reservations when they changed their computer system, which seems like negligence. They did nothing to remedy the situation. They claimed they had informed Expedia and that Expedia should have informed us. That did not happen.

My toilet looked like it had been clogged very recently as it was extremely dirty inside the bowl. The rest of the room was ok. When I needed to the toilet to flush, it barely did. I told the front desk and they gave me a plunger. No maintenance on site in evening. They never did try to fix it while I was there. A large number of people live here long term due to high rent,etc. They cannot smoke in rooms, so there are always people hanging out in the parking lot.

This was literally the worst hotel stay I’ve had. Our first room hadn’t been cleaned before we checked in. Not only were the sheets stained and full of hair from previous travelers, but when we pulled back the blankets on our kids’ bed we found an e-cigarette. The entire room smelled so smoky it was choking us. When we asked for a clean room, they offered us another that hadn’t been cleaned. Hair, popcorn, and blood in the sheets. Blood on the walls, dust bunnies in the corner of the bathroom, hair in the tub. We asked for clean sheets and a smoke detector (it had been removed) and they handed it all to us to install. Only 3 pillows for 4 of us, but by then we got sick of asking for service and grabbed our camping bedding from the car.
