The room was nice. The exterior lock on the door to come in the hotel was torn off (and apparently from reading other reviews has been for over two years) which is concerning as the area is not super safe feeling. They say they are pet friendly however there really is no clean / safe area outside for dogs. I had looked on their website prior to booking the room to see if there was a fee for the dogs and could not see anything. After our stay I looked again and if you click on "Hotel Policies" in small red print under the check in and out times, it states: Pet & Service Animal Policy A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed for a non-refundable charge of 17.00 USD plus tax per dog per night. ADA defined service animals are also welcome at this hotel.
