Do NOT attend the “90-minute” sales talk — it’s a trap!
The so-called 90-minute presentation at The Grand turned into over 4 hours of aggressive, high-pressure sales tactics. They try to bully and guilt you into buying 100 weeks of vacation for an outrageous price. Even after leaving, they continue offering “coupons” and pestering you. Please don’t fall for it.
About the hotel itself:
Beautiful, well-maintained property
Great food and dining options
Clean, comfortable rooms
Excellent service from the staff
Be aware: the resort is huge, so expect to either walk long distances or wait frequently for golf carts.

The only complaint is the sales team being overly persistent to meet with me and other members of my family. We also did not have any instructions on how to check out. I have stayed here many times over the last 2 decades.

Hotel Maravilhoso
O hotel é maravilhoso, enorme. Experimentamos vários restaurantes e todos foram perfeitos. O quarto é muito confortável e o atendimento foi impecável em todos os momentos.

Mi estancia fue desagradable, porque yo compré una habitación con vista al mar y no me dieron la habitación con vista al mar, y el día sábado suspendieron todos los servicios debido a remodelación del hotel, y nos mandaron al check out a otro hotel

This property looks like it’s going to be great; however, the food is NOT good. Pepe’s Pizza was seriously the only food I would recommend even after visiting the nicer, reservation required establishment.
The beach is awful. The pool is nice and HUGE.
Room service trays were not picked up for 24 hrs and delivery to the room took well over an hour.
The timeshare group called our room daily at 8:30 am and 9 am to get us to setup up a tour and mtg.
This is our 10th time to Cancun and I wouldn’t recommend this resort.

Moon Palace Cancún is a beautiful resort. Everything you need in one place. The staff were extremely friendly. The food was excellent with so much to choose from for every taste bud. We had entertainment day and night. I was very happy that I chose this resort for my vacation. Definitely will be back. You are treated with exceptional hospitality. I loved it there.

Manager argued with us about the oceanfront room we selected…once we arrived they were adamant on giving us a room with a partial view. There was no distinction online and the room should’ve been a king but they pushed 2 beds together. Tried to upsell us a 25,000 dollar member package and drinks were terrible as well as food selections. We stayed at Moon palace Sunrise. If you were not staying at moon palace the grand…don’t expect any frills.
