This was a wonderful hotel—we arrived from a cruise very early in the morning. Not only did they get us into our rooms way before standard check in, but invited us to enjoy a snack or cappuccino from the breakfast area. They helped us arrange a transport to the airport and were just generally helpful and kind. Rooms were clean, new and spacious. Breakfast was very nice also!

HEALTH AND SAFETY HAZARD - Mold and broken door I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel. Despite being marketed as a 4-star property, it failed on all basic levels of hygiene and safety. 1. Severe Mold: We found black mold in the shower and green mold growing on the floor next to the toilet. This is a serious health violation that was completely ignored by the staff. 2. Safety Breach: The main door to our room was broken at the frame/lock. It was visibly damaged, making us feel completely unsafe during our stay. 3. Terrible Management: When we pointed out these hazards, the staff was indifferent and even tried to charge us extra to move to a different room. They refused any refund on-site. Hotels.com has been unhelpful despite photographic evidence of the mold and broken doorframe. Save your money and your health—avoid Ludovisi Palace at all costs!

Property was Great. Cots were a little uncomfortable for the kids but doable. Refrigerator was very small and limited, very hard to add own stuff inside. Only 2 small complimentary water for a family of 4, was directed to a vending machine for more. thought that was a little cheap.
