The man at the front desk was super friendly and very helpful. Room was nice and spacious. The hotel is in a great location, we were able to walk majority of our trip. Felt safe parking my car there however if having to park in parking garage there’s few spots and it’s really tight. The free parking sold me on this property and I’m really glad with the choice. Can’t beat the price! Will be coming back.

Have stayed here before, and we like the location. Free parking is definitely a plus. When checking in, the credit card must have a chip, which was an easy fix for us but may not be for others. The room was clean and quiet but lacking table space. There is more than enough room to add a small table (We stayed in room 338). As eating in bed is not our thing, the writing desk sits directly under the TV, in an odd place for a meal in the room. I called for extra pillows after a knee injury for elevation and was told they didn't have any, even though the sign said to call for extra towels, blankets, etc. Also, the ice machine was empty 3 of the 4 times we attempted to use it. My partner loved the bed; I found it to be too squishy this time compared to last. Good location, quiet and clean, but could use a bit more attention to amenities.

The room was OK except for a slight odor in the room. Carpet is old, probably from the late 80’s. Air conditioning worked well and the shower had the best water pressure I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. One ice machine for the entire hotel and it was broke. Weather was in the upper 80’s which is extremely warm for San Francisco and the ice machine didn’t work the entire time we were there. (4 days). Location is good. Not a bad part of town, and accessible to a lot of tourists attractions. So I guess for the money, it wasn’t horrible.

The price we paid we knew we were getting a very basic older hotel and we were good with that. The room was clean, lighting for putting on make up was good, A/C worked, staff at the front desk was very helpful on mapping out the city and getting us into our room. The location was great and safe. We walked everywhere. This was our first time to San Francisco and if we go back I would book here again. The reason I gave 4 stars is the bed was super soft and the pillows were flat and I prefer a firmer mattress.
