Not exactly like home, but it’ll do

I must say, considering the number of turnovers on ownership and management, and the class of the majority of people staying here are amongst the homeless variety, the ladies running it do a great job at keeping things in order and in line, despite the nature of most of the unruly guests. Definitely have seen a few roaches, but nothing extreme.

Great help and friendliness from the front desk staff but the hotel was extremely dirty, smokey, broken fans etc.... The hall way was dirty and smelly. I would not recommend this place to anyone even if it was free. This hotel should be torn down. I don't think you can even remodel this place that's how bad it is...

Complete dump, which was a surprise because the general area doesn't have a bad feel. Broken down cars and people loitering in the parking lot. People living on the first floor, doors open, noise, people vaping in the hallway. Everything old and worn out. Roaches on the floor. Decided to leave two hours after checking in. No refund, of course. Only bright spot? Lady at check in was very nice when she explained why I wouldn't be getting my money back. Do not even consider staying here.

The staff at the front desk was very helpful and tried to help accommodate our last minute trip. They allowed us to look at the room before completing the booking and thank goodness. There were visible footprints all over the floors in the hallway. The doors and walls had grime & marks everywhere. They mentioned they did not have housekeeping staff at the moment. It was filthy and my standards are not high. We left and got a room at Super 8.

The reviews are true on the cleanliness of this place. Really makes a person question how much cleaning they do. They say they are renovating now and i hope they improve in the future. No live bugs were found during our stay, but one dead cockroach was found. (Not going to upset this hillbilly family much lol. It was dead and only one.) But the cleanliness in general is just poor. Absolutely amazing customer service! The lady who checked us in was an incredibly nice woman! Thank you very much for your kindness and hospitality! For being a cheaper place to stay, a person cant complain too much, but i really dont see why they couldnt clean some more. And yes, it smelled some. I will not defend by saying it wasnt that bad, but some reviews are a little harsh and over exaggerated. I dont know, maybe its just because i live in the country where I'm upwind of 3 hogbarns, but it didnt bother me that bad. Plus you are allowed to smoke in this place, so yeah no room for anyone to complain about smoke smells. Was happy i had a place my aunt could smoke inside! Thanks suburban suites for the stay and i wish you luck with your improvements!

The rooms looked fairly clean so when I did my walk through before check in I didn’t notice anything. But once we got into the room and opened several drawers and they were all full of roaches. We moved some sheets and saw some other bugs that I cannot confirm or deny that they were bed bugs but they sure looked like it. Andrea (lady at the front desk) was absolutely fantastic. Super nice at check in and then very helpful when we decided not to stay the night at the hotel. We decided to Leave because we did not want to take anything crawling home with us. Andrea was able to secure a refund for us even though the hotel doesn’t typically do that. Again; she was amazing. Our rooms were full of bugs and we decided to leave and not stay. I wish I could upload the video that I took of the roaches scattering out of the drawer.

Hotel was badly in need of updating. Room was old and crumby looking. There was no ice machine and no coffee maker in the room. Beds were clean and comfortable but the rest was just nasty and killed a cockroach on the floor. Would never stay there again. Lots of loud noise and kids running up and down the hall. I was extremely disappointed with the condition of this property. The hotel was dirty and poorly maintained, and there was a strong smell of marijuana throughout the premises. To make matters worse, I witnessed individuals apparently using drugs outside the lobby entrance, which made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. Another issue was the number of dogs being kept in guest rooms. While I understand that some hotels are pet-friendly, the situation seemed poorly managed and contributed to noise, odors, and an overall unpleasant environment. The combination of cleanliness issues, strong odors, questionable activity around the property, and lack of proper oversight made for a very negative experience. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel to other travelers.
