The staff was amazing, he was able to point us in the right direction of good food, attraction, and a few laughs. Only have 4 stars due to the bathroom had left over hair on the sink and the tub/shower had dirt left behind.

Stop for the night

We only stayed one night as we had an early morning fishing charter the next day and this was only 10 minutes away but the room was clean and comfortable.

Great place to stay

This place is amazing. They bent over backwards for us. Very clean. The breakfast could use a little more to it but it was good. The pancake machine was very cool. Over all we will be back next year. Oh and the price was great.

For a bunch of guys needing a place for a fishing trip it was perfect. Across from the Jolly Rodger and the Big Boy so breakfast and lunch were right there. Easy check in and they let us early check in. No breakfast or coffee in lobby and it was ok otherwise. We have stayed before for our annual walleye fishing charter and will likely stay again. Would choose another place if bringing my wife.

It was clean, the staff was pleasant, pictures are deceiving, no elevator, windows covered with spider webs, view of old run down building, and construction equipment.

A decent place to stay ...

Nice hotel, friendly staff, close to downtown, beach, lighthouse, etc. Jolly Roger's across the street .... excellent food!! My only issue was the carpet in the room needed to be cleaned. Of course, I had my shoes off in the room. The bottom of my feet looked like I had been walking outside with my shoes off. But all in all, it was a decent place.

Building looks abandoned. There were no cars at all when we pulled into the parking lot. Absolutely nothing like the pictures. Pictures have to be from 10 plus years ago. Blinds in windows are all broken. Weeds growing up all around the building. We didn’t stay, didn’t feel safe at all being there. Ended up losing our $100 for the room and went to another hotel.

The lobby and grounds were clean. The breakfast was really just a snack. The room condition was fair with a dirty floor. Feet were black just walking on it with bare feet. I guess double beds must be the standard in the area, they were small. Manager was pleasant and curtious.
