BEWARE: Cockroach in our baby's bed. Staff didn't

We found a live cockroach crawling in our baby's bed. The staff's reaction was even more shocking. When we reported it, the receptionist's exact response was "it's just a small insect," with no apology whatsoever. For a 4-star hotel, this disgusting lack of hygiene and unbelievably rude customer service is a disgrace. Do not stay here

We arrived at the hotel at 9:00 a.m. because our flight was early. My spouse went to the front desk staff member Magna to see if they could possibly make an exception and allow us to check in early. We were told that check-in starts at 3:00 p.m. When my spouse came back and told me we would be allowed into the room at 3:00 p.m., I decided to try my luck and went to another front desk staff member, Miha. I explained that we had arrived very early, but our flight had been a night flight and we were tired. As Miha was checking if there was an available room, Magna came over and said something in Polish. Miha then told us that a room could be provided for a fee of 70 euros. I told them I did not want to pay this amount, so we started waiting in the lobby. After exactly 3 hours, that is, past 12:00 p.m., I went back to the front desk. After another room check, Miha said they could give us the room for 30 euros, and I was so exhausted that I had no choice but to accept. They charged me an extra 30 euros to check in 3 hours early. I have stayed at hotels many times, and I had even stayed at this hotel before. On that previous visit, we arrived before 3:00 p.m. with three rooms, and we were allowed to check in without paying extra. We are aware that check-in times are generally 2:00 or 3:00 p.m., but on many occasions, if we arrived earlier and there were available rooms, we were allowed in. This hotel had previously done the same for us. This time, it was entirely at the discretio

Stayed at the Radisson Collection Hotel, Warsaw for 4 nights. Overall, it was decent — about what you'd expect from a premium hotel, but nothing outstanding. The room was average-sized with all standard amenities, and the gym was very well equipped. Some negatives: toiletries weren’t replenished during my stay, the swimming pool was very small, and there was no full-length mirror in the room or bathroom. The bathroom door didn’t fully cover the frame, causing a bit of water to leak out after showers (but nothing major). Also, the €6 room service delivery fee felt excessive for this level of hotel. Good stay overall, but a few small details took away from the experience.
