We stayed at the Mediterranean for two nights before our cruise to Alaska. It was a very quaint hotel, within walking distance to the Space Needle.The desk clerk when we checked in was very nice and helpful. After we were in our room, someone knocked on the door and thought it was their room. It was not a big deal at all, but soon the desk clerk was at our door apologizing for the error and had a gift for us. It was not necessary at all, but a very nice gesture.The room was clean and comfortable. We Loved the rooftop terrace and spent a lot of time there with our friends. We would stay again when we return to Seattle and would recommend this hotel.

Confusion and Hassle

The stay its self was avrage but the check in was hassle-full and unpleasant. I'm not sure why but the front desk clerk seemed to think we had more reservations then what was actual, when reported to the manager rather then smoothing over the situation and assuring good services he proceeded to argue with me and threatened changes. Although I felt assured the mistake wasn't mine he pressed the issue and hassled me for some time. With all the verify and double talk they even neglected my VIP status. After all that things turned out as I suspended and hotels.com charged me for thr correct number of rooms.

Our stay was absolutely horrible. I let my one year old daughter walk barefoot in the room and within an hour her feet were BLACK. The window curtains and shades had dust all over them. The bed was so uncomfortable my husband slept in the chair. Our room was right at the elevator and you can hear everything. Staff was incredibly rude. 0/10. Won’t be back.

What an amazing Staff from the time we checked in to the morning we checked out. Stayed there three nights before an Alaskan Cruise. First contact was I believe Mitchell. If not his name he was the Baseball Fanatic. He gave us a lot of information, almost more than we could absorb, but all the Info was on Point. From there on, any contact with staff was ALWAYS and I Reiterate, ALWAYS a pleasant encounter with positive feedback and answers. Places to eat are very close and we recommend the Thai restaurant half a block away on the same side of the Street on Republican Ave. Even better is an OLD STYLE DINER called called the MECCA CAFE that opens early at 7am and Closes late in the PM, 10 0r 11PM Back to the Mediterranean Inn. Walking distance to Space Needle and Museums and exhibits. A short UBER to Kerry Park for an INCREDIBLE VIEW of the CityScape. The view from the Rooftop of Mediterranean is not the greatest view, BUT it is VERY NICE and the SPACE NEEDLE looks AWESOME at Night from there. All in all, Would WE stay at the Mediterranean, again. ABSOLUTELY YES. Thanks to the Staff for making our FIRST IMPRESSION of Seattle such a Positive one and EAGER for a Second Visit.
