Great location and amazing gardens to relax in. The bar has an amazing selection and great views over Lago Maggiore, the restaurant serves high dining also with view of garden and lake. We have stayed at this hotel 14 times over the past 30 years of visiting Lago Maggiore. It is old Italian design which I love , convient to great restaurants, has a beautiful outdoor garden on the lake with fabulous views & has a portion of the street cordoned off for walks along this beautiful lake. The staff has always been gracious & helpful. The rooms are very nice but a bit small. Finally they have adequate air conditioning in the rooms. I love this hôtel.

Lovely hotel with easy access to lake/downtown

Beautiful and elegant hotel. Room was great with a balcony and view of the lake. Friendly and attentive staff including arranging a taxi for our pickup at the Verbania train station. Direct access to the lake with plenty of space and seating to lounge outside. Great breakfast with a variety of selections. We also enjoyed our dinner there. 5 to 10 minute walk to the downtown area.

Abgenutzte Einrichtung im Zimmer. Safe aus dem vorletzten Jahrhundert - ohne Gebrauchsanweisung. Klimaanlage heizte ununterbrochen, keine Ahnung wie reglieren. In Douche floss das Wasser nicht ab. Schlechtestes WiFI ever, das wir erlebt haben. Aber positiv: Sehr gutes Frühstück, geniale Lage direkt am See, grosser parkähnlicher Garten und hervorragende Restaurants sind nur ca. 5 Gehminuten entfernt.
