We were not permitted into the room until exactly 4pm (Check-in time) so be aware of the later check-in and limited flexibility. The room was very comfortable and clean, I wish there were more places to hang hand towels between use. The breakfast was poor, limited options and the quiche was cold. We ate elsewhere the next day.

The rooms were extremely clean and quite spacious. The staff was very helpful. I needed to have a late night zoom meeting with colleagues overseas and the staff set me up in a large conference room with excellent wifi. On one of the nights we had smores at the firepit. We parked about 50 feet from the entrance to our building. I like to run and there is an excellent short (2.6 miles round trip) running trail beginning just .3 miles from the hotel. Overall the location is simply unbeatable. Walkable to numerous restaurants and shop. The new Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum was fantastic and is right next door. All in all we had a great 3 night stay and I would highly recommend St Michaels and the Wildset!

The breakfast bar had the same thing every day. It was all very fresh and healthy. The staff was always great. They did a lot to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your stay. Everything was very clean.

Couldn’t check in until after 4:00 and after I got a text saying the room was ready there was no one at front desk to check me in. There were no elevators and room was on second floor. Very difficult carrying luggage up the steps!

The hotel was very clean and updated however the walls are paper thin. Also there is no common area to sit or wait to check in if you arrive early. There also is no where to leave your bags except a utility closet. When asked to hang a suit bag I was told they don’t do that…. Also the walls are paper thin. I could actually hear conversations. Other than that it’s a quaint location in a beautiful town.

We loved the FRESH (and free) breakfast. The room was great. Liked the big shower and having our own entrance. The vibe/atmosphere at the Ruse was great. Good customer service/friendly staff.

Staff was very friendly and the property could have been perfect but a few major flaws. We got put in a pet friendly room with a grassy area by the building that you were not allowed to use for pets. Main advertised fire pit was broken. The room could have been really nice but there was visible mold and it smelled musty. Perfect location and you can tell this is a nice place. Dinner was great. The room and couple of downfalls were enough to say we will try somewhere else next time we visit the town.

Lovely property and friendly attentive staff. Appreciated the text updates with info and reminders of service options. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and smore option in the evenings. The ruse restaurant was also fantastic, had dinner there our first evening and thoroughly enjoyed it. The unique drink and food options were wonderful. Would definitely stay here again on our next visit to St. Michaels!

very clean - super friendly staff and wonderful vibe. Bed was super comfy as well! Only issue was someone’s takeout box with leftover food was left in the room fridge.

Clean and stylish room, with a nice breakfast included. Able to walk everywhere in town. Bikes available to ride. Excellent on site restaurant.
