The bed was hard as a rock and I could feel the springs in the mattress all the time I was on the bed. Lots of goose poop on the lawn near the water made it hard not to step in. Nothing updated for a long while, old cover on bed, floor dirty my husband walked around with no socks on and his feet became filthy! Table in the room with only one chair to sit at it. Old air conditioner plugged in right on top of hand towel ring. The young man that checked us in was wonderful. The room did have a nice fridge with a freezer in it and it worked well.

Great option in the area

This place was a great base if you're looking to be out and about in the area. It's a pretty straightforward motel, no bells and whistles, but the room interior was very clean, recently spruced up, and comfortable. It was foggy while we were there, but there's a pleasant area and dock to sit and watch the lake during downtime. I also appreciate that the Three Branches bakery and cafe is a short walk away and open at 7am in season, so grabbing a quick bite before heading out for the day was incredibly easy. We will very likely stay here again.
