There was an issue with their booking system and they had to move me to a nearby hotel. The communication around this was not handled well, I found out about the issue when I received an email regarding having a card on file for the new hotel. It took several calls and chats to find out that I was being moved to a new hotel and to confirm that I had a room. I received an email as I was boarding my flight to NYC that my stay had been cancelled. Overall the actual hotel was great but the poor communication around the room situation would make me hesitant to book another stay with Sonder.

Unique location if you love vibrant street life. Easy to walk towards Empire or other way to Washington park. You basically rent a room with no other hotel facilities. Virtual key chain did not work properly which was quite annoying. Room windows were dirty that gave uncomfortable feeling. The staff was not always present or came late.

A wonderful place for singles or couples. Not a great place for families because the rooms are small due to the premium location. However the hotel is excellent if you're going alone or just with another friend. I can't recommend it enough.
