I needed a place to park my car, a hot shower and a clean bed that wasn’t too firm. I got all three, but not much else. My first room had some plumbing issues and management moved me to a different room, Thank you management. This property has undergone renovation and some of it is incomplete. Some of it is outside and some of it is inside. Still, a very old, tired property. Have you heard of “lipstick on a pig”?

The room was organized but lacked cleanliness in the sense of dustiness on furniture and floors. It also required basic maintenance like painting walls, pest control (ant like bugs problems on the wall (where you hang clothing on hooks; no closet or hangers for the make shift clothes hanging). Location/ breakfast items good.Additionally, dont remove wifi access prior to checkout time, that's just petty and cheap.

The staff was super friendly anf professional. Coffee was setved all day in the lobby. They sldo offered othe c continental style breakfast items. The room was pretty clean upon arrival until I noticed what looked like dead roaches...turned out to be crickets that got into the room without me noticing. I had the ac set at 61°f every night so apparently Crickets can't survive in those temps. AC worked like a dream. Slept well all night each night.

The rooms were clean, but we had some visitors in the form of crickets that kept appearing and we never did figure out how they were getting in. This hotel is conveniently located on Main Street, within walking distance of lots of things no matter how near or far you’re willing or able to walk. We didn’t use the pool or any other amenities really, we were just there to sleep for the most part so it was fine for that.

Beds are comfy. Basic bkfst is nice. The pool was super clean. Staff was great! The room needs some attention, but it's not horrendous. The property (outside) is the downfall to this place. A lot of cigarette butts in the parking / sidewalk areas. The outside trash bins were completely full and bags of trash were sitting next to the can the entirety of our stay and of course it smelled badly.

I had a really good stay at Super 8 by Wyndham Fredericksburg. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful during check-in and throughout the stay. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it’s a solid, dependable place to stay if you’re looking for something affordable with good service. Overall, a decent room, nice staff, and a great price for the area. I’d definitely consider staying here again.
