Ideal stopover - nice historical feel for a charming1910 property overlooking old town and harbour, 5 minutes walk to downtown bars and restaurants. Great transport connections and ideal for our archipelago cruise departure jetty.

Overall experience was great. Some issues with road noise due to overly loud cars. Dan in bathroom was very dusty and at times blew dust round the bathroom. Overall though very clean and comfortable. Fabulous location and lovely breakfast.

The hotel has a very relaxed and homely feeling to it with wonderful staff. The bed was comfortable and good showering facilities. Coffee and tea available all day in the downstairs lounge. Breakfast very good with homemade bread. Situated opposite some of the boat trip berths and in easy walking distance of most of Stockholm's tourist attractions.

Nice historical hotel with Svensk Tenn artkles in the room,situatin in the best street in Stockholm, all near to You. Very lovely personel good breakfast and room was exeptional clean, I send a message of my severe asthma and they made their very best, no symptoms att all. You here are great human persons. Cozy with great location and good value

Good value for money. Excellent location for daytrips, evening strolls and dinning out. Hotel seems slightly worn though clean and well functioning. It has its charming elements like the nice view to harbour environment and Stockholm atmosphere from 1st floor lounge. Simple standard room towards inner 'yard' seemed slightly cramped and airtight but served our needs fine (my 6 year old son and I). (Might get warm in summer?). Very friendly and helpful staff. I would consider this hotel again.

Location, transportation, and dining options

The location was fabulous! It was across the street from the harbor and the walking path. There was a multitude of restaurants from which to choose to dine as well. The lady staffing the front desk recommended a nice restaurant a couple blocks away that served traditional fare. The entry was inconspicuous so we actually entered a restaurant first but were directed to the right location by a group of friendly people in the bar. The balcony in our room faced a courtyard that had limited parking spots. We could also see a small view of the harbor from the balcony. There is a small sitting room with a balcony that faces the waterfront. It’s on the same floor as the room in which we stayed and it’s a nice place to read. The breakfast they served was delicious. There is no elevator but the clerk offered to assist with luggage. The street in front provides transportation of many types including a bus to the cruise pier. It’s about a 5-10 minute walk following a blue line to make one’s way back to a ship from where the bus stops.

Beautiful building with basic service

The building is gorgeous and location perfect for visiting Stockholm. The hotel doesn’t necessarily meet premium standards but the beds were comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the room 14, which is described as suite but it’s basically a very large room with very small and outdated bathroom. If you’re staying over the weekend the street right below is super loud until late at night due to traffic and music. We asked the receptionist is Sunday night as loud and her response was “I’m not responsible for the regulations of the street” which was a bit amusing but not very helpful. They stay on Sunday night was less noisy. The hotel doesn’t have a gym and the bathroom was very outdated, and breakfast was good but very basic. Coffee was from a machine, no fresh latte with specialty milk ;) I would recommend this hotel but not for someone who’s after premium experience and service.
