Got snowed in and was forced to book a hotel in the area for the night
To my pleasant surprise, the staff was very caring and hospitable. Provided me alternative route directions for the following morning.
The room was spacious yet cozy and very well kept. More than what I could say for most hotels. I don't know when, but I will make an effort to stay again sometime in the future. Hopefully under better circumstances however.

Great Sierra Hotel
Hotel was nicer than I had expected. Very friendly staff. Beds were very comfortable. It’s an older place in the sierras - not the ritz - very nice for where it is and the cost. Definitely recommend on your way up or down the 395.

This hotel had a nice homey vibe for us after being in Yosemite. The room was really spacious and clean. Just really comfortable. It was right by a ranch and a small town, and I would definitely go back someday.

This is an older hotel and feels like you're stepping back in time! It's very cool! That being said, the carpet on the bed frames threw me off as I am always concerned about possible bed bugs etc (I did not see anything!). I did find multiple hairs on the sheets/bedding which concerns me. There are not many other options in the area and I would stay here again but some of these clealiness issues are easy to fix.

Best place to stay in Bridgeport. Facility is dated but well maintained and clean. Check in was easy & staff helpful re dinner & breakfast recommendations. Room was quiet but AC a little noisy.
